Restorative Dentistry
Fleetwood Dental is committed to offering a full range of dentistry services. Whether you’ve had repairs or need a complete replacement, we recommend continual check-ups to assess your gums and bone density to assess the surrounding areas associated with your implant.

Bridges
Tooth loss not only interferes with your ability to chew and speak, but can also leave your smile looking lackluster. If you are missing one or more teeth, Dr. Ariel Stein places both traditional and implant-supported dental bridges to close the gap. Find out what our team at Fleetwood Dental in Mount Vernon, NY, can offer you…
Benefits of Dental Bridges
Improved Oral Health
Left untreated, tooth loss can lead to shifting and bite problems. Bridges restore oral health and reduce the risk of future problems.
Better Function
Chewing is difficult for individuals who are missing one or more teeth. A bridge reestablishes proper function so you can eat with comfort.
Enhanced Aesthetics
The advanced dental materials used to create bridges are incredibly lifelike and mimic natural enamel so that your results blend in with your smile.

Cracked Tooth Repair
Cracked teeth can cause a variety of symptoms including pain while chewing, temperature sensitivities, and the release of biting pressure. It’s common for pain to come and go, which can make diagnosing the cause difficult.
While you chew, cracked pieces of your tooth move, causing the pulp within the tooth may become irritated. When biting pressure is released, the crack can close quickly resulting in sharp pain. If left untreated, the pulp will eventually become damaged and the tooth will constantly hurt, even when you are not chewing.
There are different types of cracks, and each should be evaluated to prevent tooth loss and infection.

Dental Implants
When you have missing teeth, an alternative solution to dentures is dental implants. While dentures are removable, dental implants provide permanent new teeth to restore your mouth’s function and appearance. Dental implants tend to offer a successful and lasting solution to the loss of some or all of your teeth.

Implant Restoration
At Fleetwood Dental, we provide implant restoration services when they’re necessary. Our staff knows the signs of implant problems, and we are committed to checking them each time we see you. During visits after having implants put in, we assess your gums, bone density and any part that’s connected to the implant. These checks are in an effort to keep you healthy and catch any problems with the implants.
When you receive implants, we will guide you on how best to take care of them. This will help you minimize problems and be aware if any present themselves. If you think there is an issue with your current implants, please let us know so we can check them.
At Fleetwood Dental, we follow our ethical way of doing business when we approach implant restoration. This means that we put your health and well-being first. We always check your implants after we fit them, and we give you the information you need about your oral health and treatments.

Inlays and Onlays
Dental inlays and onlays are considered a conservative method of treating damaged teeth. They are used instead of placing a crown. Some dentists even use inlays and onlays to treat tooth decay. Instead of filling in the tooth, your dentist may use dental inlays and onlays.
Dental inlays and onlays are made in a dental lab and then fitted to your tooth. They are then bonded to your tooth.
